my bf has been be-friending all these women on this social network site. now i don't really mind if they went to high school together. but it makes me wonder is he looking for another women's attention? can he be that insecure? i mean, really? i have this feeling at the pit of my stomach that something is going on. but i don't know if its my insecurities or if i should be worried. i mean if he's going to leave me he's going to leave me. nothing i can do about it....

but by thinking about it more, you get this nervous anxious feeling that you want it to be over with, right? don't over - think, nor conclude (i am doing the same). It's hard, but think about it like he wants to re-connect with old friends , see how they were and just that. Don't overdrive that mind and heart, you'll exhaust yourself.
you better befriend them more if you feel suspicious. find some points when both you and bf can chat casually about it and see how he reacts. play it cool. I don't see anything yet that you should be worried about, unless your bf had a past with the girl. But it still is not enough reason for him to play around if he's in his right mind. -
I like...I am beautiful. I am confident... if he leaves, it's HIS loss not mine!
He probably is adding males as well but your not seeing that hun.
Also, he could be curious as to where they are all at in life now.
Or, he may have gotten on well with them as friends and simply wants to keep in touch.
There are lots of reasons. It's how you feel in yourself, be yourself and shine.....

thanks. you all have a good point. i mean if he's gonna leave then he'll leave. his HS reunion is coming up. i just have to stay confident within myself and learn to develop a more trusting me. its just tough with a history of being burned countless amount of times.
thanks cat: i need to say that more to myself everyday.Comment

Everyone wants attention from the opposite sex. He may be looking for a confidence boost. There may even be a little, minor flirting involved. Don't freak out just yet. If you are actually seeing what is being said then you know what is going on. If you don't and you are truly uncomfortable, calmly sit down and talk to him about your feelings. If he is a good guy he will TRY to understand, that doesn't mean that he will. After all, he is a man.

I needed to read these replies today, I really did... even though the original post has nothing to do with what is bothering me today the sentiments you are relating to the op are ones that I needed to be reminded of too.
I wouldn't worry about it if he has you on there too, pix. If he was being dirty he'd make a new account that you aren't privy to and act up there. Anyone he's adding if hes aware you are either on his page or look at his page are people he is not worried about upsetting you with.
I am having a really insecure day myself and loaded with self-sabatoging thoughts and was about to bang my head up against a wall again on a subject that there is just no happy ending to with my guy... but I found some peace in the words they gave to you pix... I hope that you do too.Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.Comment
