It is just nice to see another couple so in love and sweet together. Congrats. Did you pick a date for the wedding yet?

Thank you - there is just something about this girl that is completely different from anyone else, and I've seen my share of women in my time. Sometimes its awkward when we go out with friends now because we can't keep our hands off each other while everyone else seems to be getting more conservative with age. It's almost disappointing. When I really think about it, though, I really don't care if we are offending anyone.....

My dad is probably the most intelligent and best judge of character i've encountered and after he met her, he told me I'd be a fool if I ever let her get away.

However, don't think for a second we don't have our lows. I can sometimes have a temper....though I'm working endlessly to not yell....and i'm making lots of progress.

As far as the wedding - no date yet. We're in no hurry.

The wedding is going to be of the larger sort, and all the respectable venues close to us seem to have at least a 12 month wait list. In addition, I'm not feeling as financially healthy as I did in 2008 after buying a ring and weathering the steep stock market declines.

Did it! With new clothes, though.

She had been having such a hard time shopping for clothes recently because she is rather petite. Can't go in the stores anywhere without being disappointed. No one carries the small sizes in store anymore.

We spent a whole day hunting for clothes for her and came home empty handed. She was noticeably frustrated.

So I took careful note of the things she did like.....and things I liked...went online....and ordered so many clothes I put em on the floor in a trail from the door to the garage all the way to the bedroom. (FYI Ann Taylor online has 00 petites for all of you who can't find small sizes at the stores)

I did well, we only had to return a couple shirts!
