a waste of my life
Ok i dont have much time for this so sorry it's not all fancy. I've known a guy for about a year now, i met him when i was dating somebody else, but we were just friends then. But only a few days before me and my then boyfriend broke up i was feeling lonely and neglected so i was talking to my guy friend one night and we had phone sex. i felt guilty about this entirely, even if some consider it real cheating or not. Anyway, the next few months after that me and my guy friend were talking more and more into the type of relationship stuff. Well, in about april he disappeared on me. In may i had two surgeries, one to remove my gallbladder and the second one only two weeks later to remove my appendix. I was severely depressed, but he just wouldn't talk to me. he finally talked to me again in late june, then stopped in about mid-july. then he contacted me again in august. we started talking more and more about the relationship thing, and in october my prayers were answered and he finally asked me out. he came to see me one day from college and he took my virginity. he left and he texted me for about three weeks then guess what? poof. gone again. he didnt text me back until early december and he was using the excuse that he was busy doing his finals. well he was busy. he slept with about five other girls that he was going out with. I've kept all of the important messages he's sent me on my phone, and now i need help deleting them because i don't want to let go of the good memories. -
Sometimes in order to get rid of the bad in your life, you have to get rid of some of the good as well.
But do you really think, those memories that you had were good? I mean, when you think of the 'good times', doesn't it remind you of the bad ones? You may think they were 'good in the moment', but they are bad in the long run. -
Nothing is a waste if you learn from the experience. Sounds like you are young. You'll have many more good (and no so good) experiences when in comes to men in the next several years.
Delete the messages and chalk this one up to a learning experience. He's really not worth pining over. I know that doesn't make it any easier. But don't dwell on the sex thing, you'll realize later that it's not worth it.Comment
