And that saying goes for me! I have kept my feelings in for 2 years, sometimes I just want to blurt things all out, but I'm scared I'd regret something. I know I should live One Life, One Chance, No Regrets, but I can't teach myself how to.

That is why, I'm proud of Sexybabe for letting all of her emotions out. I take my hat off for you doing that. Someone I could look up to!

Whether he responded or not, you got to get was on your chest off of it... and send those feelings out of your body and into the universe. Kind of a form of closure. Maybe its better that he didn't write back. Maybe better to imagine that it got swept up with spam and he didn't even get to read it.

Whats important is that you were able to express things you wanted to. His unconcern for your feelings should solidify how sure you are that that the break up was the right move.
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.

Thank you so much! That really means a lot to me Nix! I was kind of regretting that I emailed him but I think you are all right. I should be proud of ME. I know I did it more for myself although I cannot deny that I also wanted to stir up his emotions, wanting to also hear what he truly feels inside.

A lot of people tell me that he could be covering up his pain by showing everyone that he is ok and enjoying life. I still love him. He is really the love of my life. I've had several other boyfriends but my feelings for him is so much stronger than what I had for the others. And while a part of me hurts that I seem to be the only one in pain right now, sometimes I also hope that he is not in as much pain as I am because I really love him dearly and wouldn't want him to go through what I'm going through now...

Anyway, I don't know how to "quote" here so I'm not sure if I did it right this time.

And so you should feel proud of yourself. Don't live with the regret, because just think, if you hadn't sent him the email, you might've regret not doing that and wondered what could of happened.

It's human nature to want to also know how the other person feels about you, and basically 'what people think of you'. I am guilty of that myself, and I tend to hold back a lot.

Yes, I agree that he could be covering up his pain by showing everyone that he is ok and enjoying life, and I think I mentioned that in my first post.
Give him time. What's meant for you will never go past you...if you are meant to be together, it WILL happen, maybe not now, but sooner or later. Somehow everything's going to fall right into place. Doors close so that better ones can open.

I really like this! Yeah, I still secretly hope that one day he would come to his senses and realize that we're perfect together. But right now, I'm letting him go and hopefully he finds his way back to me. If not, then I guess the right one is still out there waiting to be found...

That the way!! You are on track and have the right attitude. If the right one isn't him, when you meet the right one, you will wonder why you fell for this dude in the first place. I know it sounds stupid right now, but that's just the way things will work out. Everything will fall into place...you watch

There are TONS of reasons why people don't respond to e-mails/texts/anything like that. I've also sent the occasional e-mail just like that, would get a response sometimes, other times not. I never expected one, it was - like other posters have said - to get it off my chest so they would know how I felt and it wouldn't eat me alive that they never knew.

Most of the time they don't respond. It could simply be that he didn't know what to say, so he figured it was better to say nothing. It could be what everyone has already said, such as not wanting to open old wounds, or hiding how he feels.

Either way, try not to spend so much time wondering what he's up to or how he feels. I know how hard that is, but if you keep doing that then you'll never get over him. Don't pass up anything because you're still hoping that by some off chance he'll come back.

You sound like a really strong chick, and you're handling it really well. Just be happy knowing that he's aware of how you feel and you don't need to regret never telling him.

I just found out from a friend that he's been spending a huge sum of money like a mad man since we broke up! He bought this really expensive camera (plus powerful lenses) that he's been eyeing when we were still together, although the entire kit was pretty expensive so that discouraged him from buying. He really has a lot of money but very careful in spending it. And then I also learned that he finally decided to go for those bigger wheels and rims for his truck (something that he had always wanted also but he had a hard time going for it becuase they are expensive).

Ok, some people tell me that he could be depressed, thus all the spending. Or felt that he can spend as much as he wants to now since he is single again (it's not like I asked him to buy me stuff, i never asked... but of course he's the one who pays for all our dates). He really makes a lot of money and I don't see how he would hold himself back from buying all these things for himself when we were still together, and it's not also like I ever discouraged him.

Why in the world is he spending on all these expensive stuff after breaking up with me??? Ohmygod I wish I didn't know about this :'(

Really, you should not even concern yourself with this. He and you have broken up. Sure, it may be odd to you that he's spending his money on expensive toys for himself when he never used to treat himself to those sorts of things.. but he can do whatever he likes with his money. Maybe his spending habits have something to do with your breakup, and there is also a very likely chance that it has NOTHING to do with your breakup.

I think you're reading too much into it. And I think you need to redirect the energy you've spent analyzing his every move to reflect on why you're having such a hard time with this break up and how you can get yourself to move on to greater things. Focus on YOU! Find out what will make YOU happy!

                      KMonte85 is right

If someone engages you in a conversation say you don't want to know. THe more you find out the more you wonder and the more you get hurt.

                      Hope this helps
