I truly would like to believe in happy endings. I don't know that they are the same as what we're taught as little girls in fairy tales, but I do believe you can find someone or a life that makes you truly happy. I'm dating an amazing guy right now. We've been together 2 1/2 months and everything just feels right (minus the soon-to-be ex wife stuff, but that's a whole diff story lol).

Maybe I'm the eternal optimist but I believe people do find their happy endings, if they don't give up. Best of luck to you in this new life

And, I'm assuming you therefore believe he is reading this?

I don't think you got closure from him and therefore, there is still a tad of something there in your heart for him.

If you are going to give this new guy a chance, you can only do so, having let go totally of your past, and live only in your present and future.

A happy "ending", yep like WC, I don't really like that word But a happy, successful relationship, lies purely on being 100% committed to that person, no one else exists, and to enjoy every moment of being with that person... visa versa... then you will have what you need, the ingredients to succeed in that relationship...

You have to stop worrying about why? With the ex.... and concentrate only on this relationship and how beautiful it is and will be....
