beautiful disaster i dont really know you but it seems to me you cant love him because your not ready to get married, and we always feel doubts, we always have issues, i am sorry but no relationship is ever perfect, unless its on a soap opera and we know the charactor is about to get struck down with a terminal disease. it sort of sounds to me like you protest too much fair lady! -
Perhaps. It would be nice if I could just love and not have to feel the pressures from society to marry etc. Then, maybe I'd WANT to get married.it seems to me you cant love him because your not ready to get married
I hope that no one thinks I'm searching for perfection, some sort of perfect relationship from a fairy tale. I'm way too practical for that. My last post was just an attempt to explain why it freaked me out so much when he said the L word.
No perfect man, no perfect relationship.....no perfect anything. I don't expect that. But I also don't want to force myself into a "love" relationship, followed by marriage and babies..........just because it's what I "should" do according to society.
I guess with this fella, it'd just be nice if there could be a period of time in our relationship with no pressure. First it was the disease, and all the feelings that came along with that for both of us. Then a week after we get great news and the pressure is for once in our relationship RELIEVED, he drops the L word on me, almost like a precursor to "I love you". I feel like I'm always "supposed" to be feeling something, and would just like to go with the flow and feel what I feel.Comment
