    after 10 years breaking up

I was told the other night that I am too fat and don't make enough money. Those words cut so deep. I have put all my efforts into this relationship for the last 10 years and believe me it hasn't been easy with our combined family of my 3 girls and his 2 boys. Arguments use to be about the children he would be drill sargent with my girls and with his boys he was their best friend. I know what is ahead of me is going to be better then where I was. It is just all overwhelming at the moment. How will it affect my 12 year old daughter? After a 14 year physical abusive marriage, then a 10 year relationship now over I sit here 44 years old left with nothing. Can't find a job that will support my daughter and myself. I feel so angry, hurt, let down. I can't wait for the grief to go away.

    The Rainbow Promise

Hey sweets. Trust me when I say that you will rise above all that has been blocking your path to success. Getting your child and yourself is the first and best move that you could make. Spending time with her and being strong for her and yourself will help during your healing process. 44? I've read up on that age and believe me when I say you're at a peak in your life that needs flourishing and growth (I'm waiting for forty and very eager to get there). Be strong my sister and know that there is rainbow waiting for you around the corner. Things happen for a reason and doors will start to open for you.

It can be a long haul. Sounds like You've got two of your kids raised and on their own? You may have to live very close to the bone, it's not easy. You want to give your children a good life and do things for and with them and when paying the basic bills is a stretch it gets hard.
Do you know any one you could share a place with while you get back on your feet? Are you employed now?

Don't let yourself fall for anyone else until you are really back on your feet and have been for a while. That can really mess you up and get you off track. Focus on yourself and your daughter.
