Look in the lounge, there is "post a picture of yourself" post it...

You may be, but when a woman is involved, you try to bend to them, and not be you... You stated that.

So, there you lose the confidence, before you have it, or else you would not win all these women..........

It's late here, so I am signing of soon but I'll talk to you tomorrow

I learn't after separating, the beauty of truly loving yourself, being yourself, don't give a rats butt, what anyone else wants, I am me, in that I am free and in that I will find someone who loves me, for me.. and guess what?

    I did...

It's time... don't try to please them, you know what they want but you shut away, ... be you...

Talk soon... and I am sure as this thread has turned, others will reply whilst I sleep, seeing as I am in Aussie land and they will be awake :P...

Lets see as a collective team through talking what we come up with, meanwhile you take heart young man.. .You've got a lot to give and you shine, so let's make that be something that you are all the time....

3 weeks after she dumped you, she's canoodling with a 25 year old.. It does not amaze me.

Be thankful she showed you her true colors this early.. you're young, you can still find a girl worthy of your devotion. Go dating, mingle with the singles, go flirting.. and you'll be as suave as that 25 year old old man

      Good luck dear!

Young Gigi Re-read.... You were chosen for your inner self yes? And, I said I've seen it happen....

This 25 year old guy has this 16 year old girl "in person" there, in front of him, hasn't had time to get to know her at all, therefore, can't possibly know her "innerself"..

        Feel better now?

        CW
Yes Ma'am,i feel much better now.

Anon....Honey,try not to let this affect your health! That is such an awful thing to do.You seem like a very kind guy and as you said, seems to me as well that you can get along with pretty much anyone. There are other women out there, ones who wont break your heart. If your ex decides to come back to you,and you welcome her with open arms...Then i am happy for you both. But you also have to think that if she has done it once, she may do it again. You deserve better.

That's it, it's your desire more than love. You want to be in a relationship, you want to feel connected, to love and be loved. You desire all of that and you saw her as your source for it. But she isn't. We tend to want what we can't have.
How long were you with her? One of your posts implies about 4 months? You are deep in the infatuation phase which lasts 6 months to 2 years, your body released a flood of "infatuation" hormones. As they diminsh you will at some point find yourself realizing that you are thinking of her less and less. One day you'll be looking back wondering how it was that you were so crazy about her.

Most of us have been through it. I was so crazy about a guy I dated after I graduated and I was devistated when we broke up. Cried and carried on, I had had several boyfriends and hadn't reacted like that at all before. Looking back I'm still not sure why that one hurt me so badly but he treated me awfully. He was jealous, was constantly making wild accusations and carrying on, had me in tears more often than not. Really I was lucky to be out of it but just couldn't see it. The best thing I can advise is get out and DO things and give yourself time to get past this. I got pushed by family into dating too soon and ended up marrying on the rebound and that WAS a real disaster. Get out, see freinds, take walks, do something active rather than something just sitting around. Believe it or not you will get over this. The hurt will subside and fade. You will be happy again.

A MASSIVE help is my hobby, Urban Exploration, which is exploring abandoned and derelict buildings. Here in the United Kingdom, tresspassing is not a crime, so I go for it! It is such a release, its an amazing experience to step into an old factory, brewery, warehouse, production line.

That does sound interesting. I love poking around in old buildings. Do you ever take pictures?
