    Hi everyone!

Thank you for the advice.... I could never tell her to her face how I feel - it would be rude, and while I can say anything on this forum - I can b/c it's blind, and when I vent here, I get great advice!

Also, to quote Ahryin: true - "never get between a man and his bed" - which is why I'd never tell him what I feel toward her - frankly it's not my business.... I just wish that she'd respect that too.

The funny thing about the relationship that my sister and I have with Uncle is that we just talk - he knows exactly what we're up to even if we don't tell him b/c - I don't think that he'd talk to Shrew about things like job status, I honestly don't think that it would occur to him... maybe that's why she's so buttinski...(or... maybe he knows he'd be feeding the fire..... but I think that he's oblivious to that type of thing) I think that they talk about her most of the time.... Or where they're going on the next trip that he's financing...

Yes, to answer Beautiful. There are things that I like about her. They're mean... I love her snaggle teeth and bad taste in footware. But on the upside, at least someone outside of the medical field is wearing Nurse Mates and keeping the company afloat...

Ultimately, I appreciate her for her loyalty to him, and respect that for some unknown reason he loves her (it can't be for her cooking).

I feel bad b/c he's leaving on Sat. to go to his house in N. California for three weeks to recover - she's going too, of course.... and he asked my sister and I to join the two of them for dinner tomorrow night, but said that since it was last minute he understands if we can't go.... I can't go. I'll see him in june when he returns, but I can't look at that face... I think that I need time to get this out of my system and then I can be good company.

I know. I'm evil. In my free time I weave my basket to HE-double hockey sticks- I just have to let this go.... arrggh. I just wish she wasn't so - ewww. I guess some people are just born to be nosey and terrible.... and not get braces.

LOL...see thats why I can't be in your shoes..because I would SOOOOO start handing her Dental Business cards and coupons! Think I wouldn't when I would! I would make a gift basket out of them and throw in some gift cards to nursing stores...and or put her on their mailing list

I can gaurantee that you wouldn't want to be in her shoes - unless you stand for long periods of time and have bad taste!

I wish I could bring you to a family gathering!

A few thanksgivings ago she made this stomach churning apple tart (I think that's what it was supposed to be) - my mother coined it as "the horrible green goo" - Totally wish you could have been there for that fiasco!!!

I'd have no problem with the snaggles, the "horrible green goo" the footware or anything else if she wasn't so nosey and annoying....

What's it called in biology when the fungus grows on the tree trunk and ultimately takes all of the life out of the tree resulting in its death? That's her.

I agree that it could be because she doesn't feel like a part of the family. And you did mention that you were tlaking to the uncle figure and were annoyed with her. Maybe if you made a little light conversation with Shrew and then went back to talking to your uncle she will ask less questions
