That's ridiculous! Marriage isn't about who is going to be attending the ceremony and how much money you spend! Getting married is about making your relationship permanent. It's about fully committing yourself to someone.

You two could throw on your Sunday best and get married in city hall tomorrow!

I don't think he understands the true meaning of getting married, if those are his excuses for not doing so.

You have a CHILD together. If loving you and having a child with you aren't good enough reasons for marriage, then he needs to re-evaluate why he's with you.
