Don't be so sensitive, no one critised you, rather ensuring that your not looking too deeply into the future, and that you focus on what is now because it's true, once you get past the lust stage and into the "love" stage, the children probably won't make any difference to you what so ever, it could very well purely be jealousy and that's something only time will show you.

These children were babies, and he has spent what around 7 years being a "Dad" to them.. So, he isn't going to stop any time soon in fact he is going to need your support, given that they are moving to Sydney and given that he has a fear that they may meet their own Father and he would have a fear that all those years of nurturing them, loving them, is going to go out the door.

I think as this is all new to you, and he is new to you, you have a fear that he will leave you and go back to his ex.. I don't think this has anything to do with the children persay, like anything, as you get to know more, you get to like more, and with children the same, as you get to know them you'll get to love them as well. It doesn't matter who their Father is, this man was their only known male role in their lives and all they know...

He will love your children together, if you end up together in the long run, probably the same, as he obviously knows how to love think of it as an adoption.. Those children are his adopted children. Seems he has enough love to go around.

What WC is stating, is go with the now, not the future because you don't know what the future holds... It's too early to know.

But do support him, he needs you at the moment...
