Wow, I would be your nephew. I am 1year and 8mo older than wife. At the time, she's 15 I am 16 3/4 and I get her pregnant. Man. Will he have to reg. as a sex offender now. If so, that blows even more. I guess we will stay here. Gun laws are pretty loose here in little town Tx. Can't wait to answer the door and give the impression I was in the middle of cleaning my double barrel shotgun. lol
I am happy because I am content with who I am. My wife is not responsible for my happiness, she enhances my happiness because she is so good to me.

Different approach, everyone is concentrating on your age, his age, and sex

On that note, I think you got the message...

There is no such thing as age where love is concerned, however, a few months, you have to really think if it's chemistry, great friendship, perfect communication and shared likes, dislikes, or, all of this...

In the oldern days, 14, 15, 16, 17 was the norm for women anyway and men a tad older and so came 5 children per household.

Your nearly 18, people are purely worried for you if you have sexual relations, can't blame them.

He's almost 16, in England correct me if I am wrong but that's a legal age..

I'll be romantic, if two people love each other nothing will break them..

My suggestion is, refrain from sex, refrain from telling people, keep to friendship in view of all, and in reality view this as a time, a time that you both may express, learn about each other verbally, not physically, no one can create a problem with kissing, hugging, take this time to get to know each other, truly....

Only you know how compatible you both are...

Remember, a woman is mentally, apparently 4 years senior to a man probably due to the fact we can and have had babies at 11, 12, 13, 14 in the oldern days so we have to be...

Consider, 1 year from now, where he is mentally and you....

So, talking this time to share and enjoy your relationship without sexual intercourse, so that your both safe from the law, but also without where will this head are we to be? Well, it's called time, and time will tell...

This will give you both an opportunity to get to know each other really get to know each other and take the chemistry out of the equation...

Love has no boundries, but a few months maybe, may not yet be love...

If I can suggest, surround yourself with friends when out, and stay in public, you don't want people to assume and then try to prove, if you decide to go ahead with this relationship.

Having said all of the above, no where have you stated, how you feel deeply about him... rather, the fear of the age, hense the replies..

It would be good if you replied to your thread...

        Hi!

thankyou everyone for all your comments!

as alot of people have said about SEX... im not planning on it, i know how wrong that is especially at this age.

        CW thankyou so much!

your right age doesnt matter in love, if it is love

i tried to keep it quiet, but at school his friends found out..
lets just say is friends hate me

one of his friends said 'im not losing you to a girl that i dont like'
i dont know why they dont like me i havent done anything to them.

now im staying away from his friends.
he walks to and from school with me, but during school i mix with my year and my friends.
yes he emails and texts me... but i decided it was best, best to keep it quiet

My partner was 22 when he first had sex with his 15 year old g/f (15 is legal here). Even though I don't like the idea, it was legal and it felt right for them, they were together for several years, so I can't judge them.

Do what feels right for you and don't worry about a number (as long as what you do is legal in your country of course). Otherwise, if it is to work then it will.

Life phases do mean a lot. You two are in your teenage years (his more pre-teen while you are about to be a young adult) and young ladies mature much quicker than boys. if you two were in your twenties, it would be different. At that point you both would have then reached full maturity and be developed. Some people say age is just a number, and if you want to be naive about it, it is. But if you want to question it like you are, then you need to take into consideration that it is not just a number until you both are well mature enough to handle the things that come with age.

I'm not going to burst your bubble, I say be friends with him and think he's cute. There is nothing wrong with that. But to try to take your guys relationship into a more serious thing is something that should wait. you are at an age now where a lot is going to be happening to you in such a short amount of time. Graduation, school, jobs, moving out, cars, parties, legal ages for clubs, drinking....its all going to hit you and have an effect on YOU! Trust me, I'm 21. I graduated at 18 moved out of my dads when I was nineteen, met a boyfriend, got pregnant, became a manager, went out and drank, hit up the clubs, met new men, partied....it's all happening so fast. Just know with your age differences, he probably won't keep up.

the phrases "age is just a number" or "age means nothing" springs to mind....and its only now when you relise it does matter at dif stages in life....its the difference between you becoming an adult and him still being a minor...it just isnt going to have a happy ending...few years time it would all be so much different.
could you not put your r/s on hold at least until legal age and see if the feelings are still there then?

it's normal for a parent to disagree because you are both too young for a relationship.don't be in a rush enjoy first your being teens.
