Hey everyone,

Just wanna pour my heart out - after one year my SO said he dont want to be with me anymore. My tears are rolling down my face as i type this so now its over for good. i tried to see if we could overcome any problems but he wasnt having any of it.

we had bad arguments in the relationship over petty things which became explosions, where he would ignore me for days instead of speaking to me about it but we had really good times. im the needy type of girls but i think he could handle that. but he gave me everything past relationships havent and now im just thinking a big peice of me is missing.

anyways my heart just hurts cos he was my first and im just so heartbroken.

Just remember one little blessing: every relationship helps you learn and grow, so when you finally do find "the one" for you, you know how to appreciate him and treat him.

Take this as a lesson learned (easier said than how it feels). You said you are a needy type of girl, and you think that he could handle you - well, he might have at first, but not anymore, hence the break?

Being needy comes from a deep-rooted low-self image and insecurity. Once in a while I am like that, it gets the best of me, but I am dealing with it.

The best thing to do now, is to STOP thinking about your numerous what-if's, but's, maybe's - it would just keep you more depressed, and get you no-where. Try to reflect on yourself and what you have been missing to do ON YOUR OWN. Do things for you, go out with your girlfriends, join a gym/class, pursue a hobby and explore more about YOU and not wrap your world around him.

Unless you find happiness in YOU, no matter how good a man comes your way the next time, you'll go back to this low point because of your neediness. Neediness drives men away - even the good ones.

Hello thank you for the replies. he told me he doesnt mind me being needy and loves the fact that im so emotionally attached to him.

hes the type of person that thinks i mean one thing when i totally didnt which us to anger him and instead of talkin to me about it - he would hang up and go in a mood and i would have to spend so long contacting if not then we would go atleast a few days without speaking until i made contact with him as he os stubborn.

he had such good qualitis as well and gave me a lot of attention, we got on on so well in many ways, we were so physically attracted to each other n the time we spent together - it was a LDR - was just so amazing. however, not seeing each other meant arguments, some because he thought i meant something which i totally didnt and then he wouldnt believe me when i said what i meant and also because he had no respect. he spoke to me like i was rubbish stuck on his shoes at time it was disgusting. but i still managed to bypass that and still think of the good times and build the relationship on that but guess we were not strong enough to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

it as just the arguments that really got to him and he alwasy blamed me for them - even though it wasnt even my fault most of the time.

i love and trust my boyfriend so much and im open to doing almost anything... latley, my man has been wanting for us to have a three sum im open to it actually would like to try but i have no idea of where to go from here... any advice, il take anything...PLEASE HELP it sounds like its really important to him and i dont want to lose him.

Oh no, this isn't a good idea. It will do your head in and you'll end up in great pain!! Think about the morality of what he's asking you to do. If it is important to him, then that's more important than YOU if you have concerns about it. Sorry to be so blunt, but he can't have it both ways. Perhaps keep a little "love and trust" in reserve until you are surer of this person. Why not keep him guessing instead of going in, boots ' all!! I made it a rule of thumb NEVER to reveal everything about myself to my husband, friends, lovers, boyfriends from the past. Keep the mystery!! It's all about being a female, and some of you will know what I mean.
