"Widows weekend" and male strippers
Okay, so a few girls and I went to a male strip show because all our men are up north deer hunting and doing "guy things", which probably includes going to a strip club. Anyway, so last night my friend "S" and I had so much fun, they gave us lap dances (they were only like 15 seconds long and moved on to the next girl), but i can't help but feel guilty for it. It literally was just honest fun and I would NEVER cheat on my boyfriend, but why do I feel so guilty? Someone help me feel better? I told him about it and he was okay with it, but i just cant shake this feeling... -
Lol, so why is it every woman thinks that when we go hunting we're hunting bipeds?
I can say honestly (on a bible) that whenever I've been hunting - its been HUNTING. Deer, Pheasant, Elk, Duck, Goose, etc... Never have we ever done a stripclub or anything of the sort - ever.
I'll not say it's unheard of of the men who go hunting to REALLY hunt, FAR outweight the yahoos who use it as an excuse for a kitchen pass.
and Lizzard - Only you know what happened there, and if you know that "nothing" happened but good fun, then no biggie - nothing to worry about - obviously he trusts you to know the diff between right and wrong. -
Hey now, hey now, hey now.... lol, not EVERY woman thinks that. I don't! For one, where we go hunting is about 3 hours from civilization and two, I go too! Besides all that, I've learned hunting is EXHAUSTING. Who even wants to stay up past 8pm, when you get up (not the women, but the men) at 3am for a morning hunt?
My guess, you feel guilty because maybe you would be hurt if he did the same? I don't know, I'm not a strip club kind of person and thankfully neither is my hubby. I guess, take his acceptance that you went as a good thing, but maybe take it into consideration in the future and the decision to partake in any other similar activities with the 'widows'.Comment

Ok LanaBear, you got me there I should not generalize, but I was just referencing another unfair generalization. But you also have to admit that there is a clear majority that have suspicions about it.Hey now, hey now, hey now.... lol, not EVERY woman thinks that. I don't! There really are some of us that arent drooling sex maniacs - I never drool! :0)
Seriously - I don't cheat - ever - Nor do I do the strip club bit - I have no reason to. I go hunting to hunt! as do the great majority of the folks I know.Comment

You probably just aren't comfortable with it and don't feel that's how you need to get your 'thrill'. Don't let it eat you alive. Kudos to you though, if I wasn't going hunting and there were plans for the guys to go to a strip club (lol, which I can't even imagine, they are there to tag out and that's about it), anyways, more than likely, hubby wouldn't be going on that particular hunting trip.Comment

I agree... I don't know though, that thought has never even crossed my mind, even before I started going on these trips. There have been plenty of 'guy' weekends from ice fishing to backpacking and the possibility that a strip club would be involved wasn't even a thought in my mind.Ok LanaBear, you got me there I should not generalize, but I was just referencing another unfair generalization. I mean it was fun and nice to look at hot guys, but I'm going home to my man either way. It was just a night to let loose with the girls and not care about all the crappy stuff for once. I thought I'd feel guilt free, but I don't. Perhaps its just a learning experience that I know I wouldn't enjoy it that much now.Comment
