    Bumped

Going though a breakup. He broke up with me. I feel like my heart has been ripped out. I thought he was the one. I lost my virginity to him and how I'm regretting it.
Does the heart really heal? Can U love again?

Sorry for the typo in the name by the way. Extremely upset and my hands are shaky

The heart heals, but it takes time. The good news is that you can love again, but being somewhat wiser than the time before. Stay busy.

Remember the good times. Don't worry about your virginity, most guys are not looking for that.

I suggest you "do not" think of the good times, because that will make you even more sad. Think of what he did to you, that he left, that he wasn't the right man for you. A man who really loves you will never abandon you. He didn't love you.

There are more than one men out there who are "right" for us. Don't regret losing your virginity to him, you must have felt it was the right thing to do at the time. You couldn't have known the outcome.

The heart not only heals, but it becomes stronger. You become wiser. You learn things about yourself you didn't know before.

Spend time with your family, friends, express your feelings, talk a lot, post to us here, keep your mind busy. Be glad it happened now and not after marriage and 2 children.

Ending a relationship is better for both than continuing one where someone is unhappy. It is really miserable when it happens, but is for the best in the long run.
