    Exciting News!!

Lately, I've been trying to get back out there, be young, free and enjoying myself.

Friday night gone by, I met some one while out with my friends. We exchanged numbers and I met him again on Sunday evening, we went out for drinks together.
He seems really nice, easy going, down to earth, VERY good looking. He's in to keeping fit and going to the gym so he's quite muscular (which is very eye catching) lol.
We have quite a lot in common and we never ran out of anything to chat about.

But.. Today while I was talking with friends, and they were asking me how Sunday night went, I had said to them, I've just been trying to get myself back on track lately and hadn't planned on seeing anyone new, and they said to me to just go with it, that these things happen when you least expect it?
Only, now I'm wondering is it too early to be seeing anyone again or do I go just go with this and see where it goes, after all, what do I have to loose?
Except I'm questioning if this is something I should be doing right now?

That's great! Just do what feels right for you. Can't really put a timeframe on dealing with a break-up, it's all very individual, so go with what your gut and heart says. Perhaps it is time to move forward with this opportunity, but only you can really know that.

Don't question things happen for reasons, but don't let your heart go to your head yet

Enjoy getting to know each other, relax, go with it mam

Take it slow, enjoy yourself, there is no need to hurry.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.
        ...
Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, Virginia

          Hi
Go for it- it is better to catch now and release if needed -than to think of him as the one that got away.
Just dont bend his ear about your ex.
Congrats on your catch and good luck.

If you are wondering and thinking if its too early, it probably is........sometimes we have to listen to what our minds tell us

You want to go into another relationship clean as a whistle, no baggage for the trip......

I am at that stage now myself, I would love nothing more than to enter another close relationship but I know my mind is not ready yet so I stay disciplined.

When you are ready, you will know
I am going to tell you what you don't want to hear!
Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn't

I agree with CW,everything happens for a reason! Be careful and especially take it slow. If this is the man of your dreams, time will only tell. Enjoy youself....

Thank you for all the positive feed back

I needed to hear what other people's views were from looking at it from the outside, my mind felt a bit clouded.
I've done some thinking, and I feel I should tell him, I've been through a little rough patch (no more details about what or why), and tell him I'm not going to just jump in head first, but I'd like to keep seeing him.
I'd like to see where this goes, it's the first time I've been excited about something in quite a while, and I hate living with regrets and wondering "what if", so I won't let this be "the one who got away" and forever wonder what could have happened.

My ex defo won't be in any conversation either. That's in the past, and this is the future

Can only keep you head in the sand for so long

CW recently said to me, being positive brings positive people, and positive things, and now I'm starting to see that
