While very Admirable that you are an honest man and keep your word, there are ways that you can " Limit the Loaner ".
You can have him sign a contract to the Loaner Rules.
Babygirl; I appreciate the time and "thought" you put into your suggestion.
But the reality is that I have already seen how Sluggo "honors" his commitment on "contracts"
I executed a contract with him to "buy" the bike last summer and he never executed ANY of the terms. If I had him sign a contract like you suggest- he wouldn't "honor" the terms though I would.
As things stand I own the bike and can take it back at any time; for any reason, or no reason at all. I intend to give him a couple months to "show his colors" as it were. I may extend if he shows "good faith" but I don't expect either to have him show "good faith" or to have to do anything but "take" the bike back.As long as there are no "limits" on my conduct by a "contract' I can do whatever I please.
Thanks Babygirl; the "best medicine" for me is "hearing" my own thoughts on this repeated back to me. It is "comforting" hearing that I am not the only one to "see" problems with this scheme. I feel like I need to try it...but I hate it
