Well some people are just obsessive about relationships. My sister is fine to be around until she's obsessing about a relationship and then you will hear nothing else. She became quite useless for help with my calc assignments when she dumped her boyfriend and was obsessing about whether to try again with a life long friend she'd tried dating right before she left for college. All we heard 24/7 was about him and did we think he would actually take her back after how she broke up with him last time. Then there was the obsession over 2 new guys she met after he turned her down. When she had a boyfriend again then she went back to actually holding conversations and answering questions until she started having problems with that boyfriend and obsessing about whether she should and how she should break up with him. She truly just can't put her mind on anything else when having relationship problems or trying to land a new boyfriend. Even things that would normally be important to her and have nothing to do with someone else she can't think about. All she can think about is the relationship. That's just her and most of the time it's amusing. Occasionally though like when I was trying to solve a very complicated calc problem and my help was staring off in to space randomly asking if she should try this or that to interest the guy it does get annoying.
