    is it just insecurity?

I've been in the relationship that im in for almost 6 months. Things moved very fast with us. I started working at the resteraunt his father owns and then after almost a year i started working at the cabinet shop next door that he runs-on my first day we went on trip all the way to Kansas to pick up some machinery for the shop-by the second night we were together. It was kind of my plan.I'd had my eye on him since i worked at the resteraunt but he just became single at christmas-ended a 5 year relationship with his fiance. Anyway....we practically live together-my daughter and i have stayed with almost everynight in the past 4 months.I go by my apartment to check the mail once a week-thats the most i see of the place. We are very close.I really feel like its "meant to be"
Heres the problem-he has a wedding to go to in Sep. When i asked him if he was going to take me .....he said no-I flipped out! I could not understand why he wouldnt want to take me-Did he not want his friends to meet me?Would his ex be there? Hes replied with "I made these plans before you and I got together..." Hes told me that his ex's mother would be there but she would not- the wedding is in Colorado...he'll be flying out there and staying for like,4 days-
As his secretary-I'm now looking for plane tickets and handling his trip-it really ****es me off.....I'm so worried...its a wedding you know? People get drunk and reminiss and things happen-And what if his ex is there?... old flames die hard right? gosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!its making me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!

Just relax! breath! I've been in your situation few times , and yes it is insecurity. Just remember guys don't like insecure girls as well as we don't like insecure guys. If he wants to cheat on you he will regardless of what you do. So you need to focus. If he broke up with his GF after 5 years probably they couldn't be together anymore for whatever reason. Well, now he has you. So be confident! he likes and loves you!
Talk to him openly about it without showing insecurity.
Tell him how would he feel if the situation was involving you and your ex. When he is gone try not to think about it, i know it's hard but you can do it, stay busy, you have other things to do. Good luck!

      Take it easy

I think there is no need to worry.
If he wanted to see her, we would do it with this wedding or without it.
And if she will be there, what would happen?

Show him that you trust him, because telling him otherwise, results in pushing him towards her.

It is Simple, if you find out that he is cheating on you, leave him quietly. Save your energy and don't even bother to fight with him.

Worrying does nothing but add gray hair, wrinkles, makes your stomach upset, helps cause ulcers, "break-outs", and a huge variety of illnesses.

Now, do you want any of the above items to happen to you?

          Remain Calm...

I would be the same way. A similar situation has happened to me. But I think you should just let him go and just don't say anything else about it to him, if you let him know it bothers you, it will only make things worse. Act like you don't care, and you want him to go and have a good time! Trust me, it's going to be hard because deep down I know your going to go crazy wondering what he's going to be doing. But if you act like you don't care he will see that you trust and love him which will make him want to do the right thing!! It works for me, I can be very insecure at times, but when I act like I don't care nomatter how hard it is, he seems to respect me more and realize that I trust him. And if it gets your mind off of things and makes you feel better, you should go off with some of your friends or go do something with your daughter. Then when he gets home tell him what a great time you had with your friends/daughter, so that kind of lets him know you weren't at home worrying about him the whole time. Good Luck, you'll be just fine!!
