We love each other but cant be together
I am still young and in love with this guy. We broke up a year ago and we have been trying to get vack together but evertime the opportunity comes, we fight. He ends up calling me names and he start dating other girls. When it doesn't work he comes back and tells me that he will never be happy without me and he wants us to try again. I forgive him because I love him but before we work things out, the same routine occurs. He has hurt me but I love him so much. I don't know what to do. At some point I stop to think if I deserve what he is doing to me or am I just afraid of moving on. I have dated one guy since the break up and after me and the other guy broke up, he was the first person I called and told. Please advise me on what to do. -
It sounds like you love him, but he doesn't love you. Instead, you are a comfortable place for him to land in between girlfriends. You would do well to move on before the cycle repeats itself again. Ending all communications with him will help you in this.<center><i>Nature gives us shapeless shapes,<br>Clouds and waves and flame,<br>But human expectation is that love remains the same,<br>And when it doesn’t, we point our fingers and blame.</i><br><a href="http://www.womens-health.com/boards/register.php">Register</a>|<a href="http://www.womens-health.com/boards/members/little.html">Contact Admin</a>|<a href="mailto:support*womens-health.com?subject=Forum Contact">Email Admin</a></center>Comment

He's got you no a string for when he's lonely, but he doesn't love you. He treats you rotten. He has shown you who he is, it's time to start believing him.
You won't even start to get past this until you cut all ties with him. No communication: don't answer calls, texts, emails, chats, anything. If you see him, be cordial, but nothing more. That's when you'll get over him.
"We love each other but can't be together" ............no....because there's NOTHING keeping you all from being together other than the fact that this guy just doesn't feel for you what you feel for him. And he'll keep you on the string as long as you'll let him.Comment

If you wonder if you "deserve" this treatment then your gut feeling is telling you "NO" you don't and it is right, always follow your intuition.
It's possible that you just go with what you know, more so than you love him. You dated someone else, so you were able to follow through with trying a new relationship, I imagine it didn't work because your heart is still caught up with this person but like I said, it's possible that it's only because that's all you know.... And, he's manipulative as well, gives you hope, when as the ladies state, he's on his own again... He doesn't give you hope when he's playing the field.PUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL!Comment

Cookie..
You need to learn to Love yourself. Letting and Forgiving Anyone who calls you names, Downgrades you, Uses you in between other lovers, is not Worthy of your Love,
But You are Worthy of your own Love of yourself. So Dump the Jerk.. And if you really think about it You don't really Love him, you love the Idea of Him, when he is nice to you or Romantic.
Take pen & Paper.. Start the List.. Yep THE LIST >
Name 10 good things about him and how he treats you. Not that he's nice looking or has a Nice car.
But Character Things like Sweet, Kind, Even Tempered, Gentle,Protective, Respectful, Forgiving,Thinks of your wellness and Happiness .
Now Name 10 things that are Negative about him ( use opposites of things listed above ) or such like it.
Now Name 10-20 things you Deserve in a Relationship. Again, I'm not talking Money type things, I'm talking how you want and should be treated by a Partner.
Next, think about what you can change in yourself for yourself to Love Yourself More and be happy alone without a Man in your life.
Then ...Think about what you can Change about him ? Know You cannot ever Change him, that's up to Him to do..
But What you can change about him.. Is not having someone in your life Like him.. Now or Ever Again.
