Hello I need some advice. My friend Eric came down to visit me and we went on date to a resturant and we started holding hands and I know that the two of us were starting to talk about us going out but we both said that we wanted to go slow. And way before he came down to see me that we were going to go slow and when he came down here, he was acting like we were dating. Please give me advice

Lara, I think its cute that the two of you held hands. Maybe its just his way of saying he cares about you and he wants to start a relationship with you. It sounds like you had a cute date that was somewhere between friends and being in a relationship. At the same time, it sounds like this is the status between the two of you: stuck between friends and being together. In addition, some guys have a different idea about going slow. In his opinion, maybe you were going slow. I think you should talk to him about where you want the relationship between the two of you to go.....friends or dating????
