    Help Me Please.

I'm confused I really need some advice. Me and my boyfriend just broke up, BUT we still live together, sleep together, and have sex. We broke up three days ago. The first night I spent the night at my friends house because it was really bad I mean horrible. My best friend talked to him and she told me he said he still loves me, he wishes I would trust him, he doesnt want me to go back to michigan (where my family is).Well we talked and we made truses and established it was really bad timing `for us. we have been going thru alot for these last few months with a trust issue the stress EVERYTHING. He is going to school and he isnt taking easy classes hes on the verge of failing physics, and his technology class, (Which is why he has been acting selfish lately) He is struggling. The stress of our relationship is only making him worst, and the stress in his life is making mine more stressful. So we just have bad timing. Well the second night I feel asleep on the couch I grabbed my blanket, and pillow and went to sleep. Well I wake up at five in the morning to see him laying on the floor in the livingroom too. Well I snuggled next to him and he put his arm around me, and woke up to his alarm clock going off. His exuse was he didnt want me to be late for work but he wakes up before me so he could of woke me up. His sister told me it was because he loves me. He had the option to sleep in the bed but he didnt he slept on the floor in the livingroom near me. Well last night one thing led to another and we had sex. It was the first time in almost year that we used a condom because he said he wanted to. I understand that completely. EVERYONE is saying that were gonna get back together we wont last being not together there is no me without him vise versa we have been together for over three and a half years, and all this other stuff its just our timing is off. I dont want to believe that because I dont want to set myself up for a downfall. I dunno it still feels like were still together even tho he doesnt tell me he loves me or kisses me. I guess its because were still sleeping togehter and living together and i'm still being treated like a member in his family. Can someone please help me figure this out. Are we together or not. I beleive the best way he can prove that I can trust him is if he doesnt see anyone but I cant say that because he is single but I wanna tell him that and make it seem like i'm trying to control him. There is no one for me right now but him. I want him to do better in school I dont want to stress him but I am seriously stressing about this. PLEASE HELP ME ANYONE.

    SimplyMe,

Only YOU can answer the question: Did you break up or not?

You still live together, still sleep together---you've gone about your daily routines as you have before!

It seems to me when people break up, they see don't see each other as if they were still b/f & g/f; they go their SEPARATE ways!

You 2 haven't parted ways yet.........

First of all i would like to thank you ladies for talking to me. Well I still love him and want him I'm just not ready to let go. I was the one who brought it to the table. He broke my heart back in december last time we broke up. I have tried so hard to trust him but everytime i see him i just think bout it and it hurts me im trying to forgive and forget but its hard to I just dont know how. Any advise? You know last nite we were supposed to go out but as soon as i found he had a test this morning i told him no because he need to study and you know what he said ok. NOT ONCE DID HE STUDY LAST NITE. he failed the test and it felt like a slap to my face. Here he is making me believe its my fault he isnt passing school and yet i told him to study last nite and he didnt. He was bummed he failed and I told him you know your lazy. Most people would kill to go to school to have that chance to make something more of themselves. You were given that opportunity and yet your wasting it. I know this semester isnt the easiest but be grateful your gettin grades. He goes i gotta go. Than he sent me a text later on saying thank you for being there for me. I am possible the confused person on earth at this moment. Since we broke up EVERYONE has been trying to get my attention and talk to me. Even people i went to high school with its crazy but im not ready to. I want to make him jeolous but i would feel like the most evil person if i used another like that so i dismissed that thought.

        SimplyMe,

Caroline has a very valid point: all of a sudden, your b/f or ex is wearing a condom... not only do I believe, as Caroline said, that he's trying to guard against pregnancy, but also that he may be sleeping around with somebody somewhere and he doesn't want to pass it on to you because that will tell for sure that he's been with someone else; or, he may already have something and he may be in the process of taking meds for it.

It's best to just separate and leave it alone. No sense in walking around in a haze, not knowing if you 2 are a couple or not. It's been over for a while now.
What's even worse, is him blaming you for his bad grades.

Everybody knows if you're in school and you don't make the grade, it's YOUR fault!
You don't let anybody or anything stop you from getting a good education. It's one's own fault if they fail, so don't feel bad about him trying to put the blame on YOU.

"simplyme" you say that his sister and your best friend are telling you that he says he loves you..why isn't he telling YOU that he loves you..ask him to look you in the eyes and say "i love you and i don't want anyone else but you"..most women are much more perceptive than men,you can probably tell if he is lying to you..

LOL, lets put dude in an Interrogation Room, make sure the room is pitch-black, then shine the spotlight in his face and have a detective in the room blowing smoke in his face.

Let's see if he tells the truth then, LOL!

nothing wrong with being silly and laughing..i try to look on the light side of things in all situations, but sometimes i say it aloud at inappropriate times..friends have told me i should try stand up comedy on TV, but i'm afraid of heights and i have only an 18 inch TV, and i'm afraid i will fall off and break my neck..

                    Doc,
get on that comedy circuit and work it out!
You're holding back on the laughs and not letting others get in your humor .... shame on you.
