    Petie woman and relationships

Hi are there other petite woman out there that have a difficult time establishing fullfilling relationships?

I am very petite because I got very sick pneumonia when I was 11 and I literally stopped growing, so I am the same height\size as I was at that age. I can still wear the same size clothes as I did when I was 11-12. I am now 22, and I like normal guys my age, but its hard to meet guys who don't perceive me as a young girl, and thus talk to me in a tone like I am their little sister. I can't tell you how many times guys think I am someone younger sister tagging along. When I buy a movie ticket, the person selling the tickets always assume I am a preteen and its beens a major hassle to go to a adult movies, because they think I got a fake ID; the manager always has to be called.

In college I often other students wondered if was somekind of child prodigy, thinking I was 11-12 year old student with a very high IQ. I'm smart, but not that smart. I met a lot nice guys in college, and a few I'd just assume forget. I dated a few of guys who seemed pretty nice at first, but turned out they just wanted sex. Most normal size girls who've gone to college have had dated guys like that too, but I think I attracked guys who liked have sex with much younger girls. I regret to admit that I did have sex with a couple of them before I really got to know them. Practically every guy I've spent the night with has been concerned if his erection is too big or if he needs to be extra careful so not hurt me while we have sex.

I know my height\size is that of 11-12 girl, but the guys I find attractive tend to like fully developed girls, they aren't into chasing after younger girls, so the guys I like aren't looking to find a 22 year old who looks like she is 12.

Have you considered seeing a fashion/makeup consultant that can help you look more mature without looking like a tarted-up teenager?

How tall are you exactly? Its not that weird for a girl to be 5 foot even. My sister is that height and she's 24. It should be pretty easy to tell the difference between a small adult and a large child...did you develop everything else normally? Are you really skinny? If you are, then maybe gaining 5 lbs might do the trick.

Trust me, there are TONS of guys who like petite girls. For every girl, there are at least 5 guys who could be potential mates. Guys have it a lot tougher...there's five of us fighting for each one of you meaning that some of us are destined to be alone!

Lisa, give me some idea of your height. My wife is 4' 7", which is in the 25th percentile for American women at age 11. When we first tried shopping for clothes when she came here 22+ years ago, the only things that fit were clothes for young teens. There was a fit problem because she was not proportioned the same way at the hips as young teens since she was in her early 30's. Now she knows which stores carry clothes that she can wear (none of the large chain stores). You may have to dress older to have other's recognize your age. BTW, I'm 6' 3".

Last night I tried to post this but I kept getting diverted to an Amazon site.

Amazon site here also ,with my " Welcome with real Name in it ".
I shut down Comp after I ran 3 Different Anti Viruses, then Hijack this and Cleaned our Registry ,tried 2 other Browsers and it was not linked to here ( WH).
But it was only when I tried to Link here to WH ..
Switched from External HD to Internal. And after Reboot things have been Good .

Note Change all Passwords, Clear all Cookies and Saved Data .
If You don"t have an Amazon account and never been there .. They cannot show the " Welcome to part " .
If they have your Amazon " Real Name " Delete it and then reapply and Change Info .

With WH being such a Huge Forum, there are Bound to be Spam and Bots .

And I have an "AD Block " on my comp, so I don't see the flashing Sidebar and gets your nails done for free stuff ( Adverts that pay for this site to be Free ).

Friends may Pm me about this . It is free and my Son is a GEEK Pro..

I also was redirected to Amazon.com last night, when I tried to sign on WH. I tried accessing WH through a VPN server in the Netherlands and signed on without being redirected. This morning WH worked normally.

Strange.. looks like only some, but not all, IPs were being redirected.

I think the trick is to dress your age - or even a bit older. Its actually difficult to judge people's ages and there is a very strong social pressure to avoid any sort of romantic actions toward what might possibly be a child. Years ago I made a comment to a friend about a woman who I thought was attractive, and to my infinite mortification was told she was 13. I cringe now as I write this thinking about it.

So, even if you look just possibly like you might be a child, I understand people being very cautious, even if they are pretty sure you are an adult.

I'm 4'11" and I have trouble keeping relationships, but it's because the guy is a jerk, not my height. The key is to dress (and act) like a woman.

Thanks for the advice. I am 4'6" and weight around 70lbs. Basically when I was 11 I spent two weeks in the hospital with pneumonia, and it stopped me growing\developing. It was not obvious for about a year that I had stopped, since then doctors only have theories as to what's wrong, and everything they recommended (ie drugs) has not changed anything. The bottomline is they really don't know exactly why I stopped growing. As an example, without being too detailed, I've never had a period and by breast size has not gotten larger. By the time by little sister was 11 (she is 3 years younger), she more developed that I was at 14.

My size was never much of issue in middle school, and not really even in high school except for typical teasing, maybe because everybody knew me. I had boyfriends every year from the 4th grade - 11th grade, and even experimented with sex (maybe sooner than I should), but it was in college that I kind of hit a wall because everyone started looking like adults, and I just stayed the same size.

I am not the type that goes bar hoping, but I have done it with my friends and its fun to do on special occasions, but I could write several pages of stories about bouncers not accepting my ID, or even if I can get past them, once inside, it still remains a problem. Generally the darker the better, and when we can find a table off to the side where we can have a good time without being noticed.

Maybe I am just impatience. I just feel ready for long term relationship and want to get married.
