It is sad, and I hope I'm wrong, but I think there are a lot of men that have this mentality - that their wives are supposed to just do whatever it is they desire.

This is true... especially in the case of what transpired on the radio show discussion.

The man wanted --- practically DEMANDED --- that the wife agree to this:
That he & his wife engage in relations with other couples that HE chose.

He died of an unspecified STD that rendered him helpless and unable to take care of himself in the simplest of ways.

Had she done as he requested, SHE would have been in the same position.
