John is a popular fake name for jerks who sleep around on their girlfriends (see my very first post.)
Do what you have to and LEAVE. I have been where you are. Call him every name in the book (he DESERVES IT) and go do what it takes to find other friends.
Join groups. There are plenty in college, especially with another semester coming.
Go through rush next semester. You don't have to join a sorority; you can make friends just rushing.
Hang out with a fraternity. Depending on the people in them, they can range from awful to great. Don't judge by letters; judge by what you see.
Join Student Government. Or get a job.
Do ANYTHING but see this guy or else it will never, ever stop!

When I was in University I had a very wide circle of friends
and acquaintances. One of them was a boy named Glen.
I'd known Glen forever and we went for brother and sister.

One day I heard Glen chatting about a female we all knew
called Nera. She wasn't much. Glen was describing a number
of sexual encounters and I didn't like it.

Later on, when we were alone I asked him; "What in hell are
you doing with her?" and he told me this;

"You know I love Toni, but she's five hundred miles away.
Nera's cheaper than a w hore, there's no danger of me
getting emotionally involved, she just takes the edge off."

Nera was in love with him, thought he was her boyfriend.
She knew Glen 'had been' with Toni, assumed that
relationship was over and she was his girlfriend.

I said nothing to her, Glen was my friend, she wasn't.

Anyway, there was some social function, Toni was in
town and she and Glen were the golden couple.

Nera sat home that night.

The next day she came looking for Glen.
The whole crowd, including Toni were at a particular
place. Nera entered, and all of his
friends where trying to block her and Eddie said;
"Nera, go away, Glen don't want you. He never wanted you."

Of course, Nera made a complete idiot out of herself,
and Toni, who was there, was like; "Who is that?"
And Glen was; "Some idiot whose been running me down."

Anyway, an argument started between Glen and
Toni. Eddie interceded with;
"Do you think a guy like Glen would want something
like Nera when he could have you?"

Now Nera is hearing everything, and all the guys
are passing these kinds of remarks.

Nera tried to tough it out but after a while she
realised that she was just a sexual release.

After Toni had gone back to her University
Glen confronted Nera in the most public
place possible and in the loudest voice;

"Listen you ugly piece of garbage, the only reason
I was near you was to get a wash off. Since you
tried to mess up my relationship with Toni, don't
even look at me. I prefer the Palm Sisters...they
work just as well and don't smell as bad."

There's some good, sound advice here ... take hold of it!

You only want to be with him because you feel he's your "only" friend; he only wants to be with you so that he can use you whenever he's ready.

Besides, look at how he acts about the girlfriend that broke up with him. Dude is unstable and can't take "NO" for an answer! He's still calling and coming around her; and you said he's secretly emailing her.
This guy is actually stalking her!

Be glad that he really doesn't want you, because he's one of those guys that acts like if he can't have the woman, NO ONE CAN.

It was well-advised that you seek some groups and join them... and that's best. Aren't there other people where you are? Why not make new friends? Get out of that rut where your world consists of someone who doesn't even want you.

Thanks guys. It's really helping. Today I turned of AIM and chat, which is huge for me because that's usually the only way I can see where he is and think about what he's doing. Going home will help and when I come back I'll keep busy and make new friends. I'll let you know how things are going. Thanks!
