I was exposed to the philosophy/concepts behind birth order and romantic relationships, and so it was always something in the back of my mind. I can't post links here (not allowed I think) but there are a lot of stuff about it that can be found via Google. A site called lexiyoga has an interesting perspective on it (not sure how credible they are though).
THE GIST OF IT
Basically, the order you were born in (amongst your siblings) can have a pretty big impact with who you are compatible with. People who are only children are considered as well. Using me and my GF as an example, we are both the last born (youngest among our siblings). I am the youngest of only brothers and she is the youngest of only brothers. We are said to be able to have a very exciting and fune time together; we enjoy "playing and being kids together," says one site. However, our pairing is also said to be the most chatoic of all the pairings. We are supposed to be unorganized, unable to hold ourselves accountable, and expect the other to take the lead.
My best pairing is supposed to be a woman that is the oldest of brothers as well as a woman that is the oldest of sisters. The reason behind it is because these women can be very maternal and my personality is supposed to bring out the best in their maternal quality. They are also more likely to take charge and organize things, which is something a last born brother needs. It is also said that my match really enjoys my friendly and easy going personality.
I've read a lot into this stuff and agree with a lot of it. It's almost eerie. I do appreciate maternal qualities in a woman and I do want her to take charge early on. I also want a lot of my GF's attention (another trait of the youngest brother). I sort of agree with the chaotic analysis as well. To counter the chaos, my GF and I are supposed to use some serious teamwork (according to one expert). I am competitive... I know we will make it work

What are your guys thoughts/feelings on this? What is the sibling order of you and your spouse?
Again, sorry for any grammar issues, typed all this up on a phone.
