This is awkward, but I need to ask it

So a friend of mine (who is 16) has a little sister who recently turned 11 and is showing some signs of puberty starting (breast growth, armpit hair, and the moods), and he asked me a really awkward question. He wanted to know if it was wrong to trim her pubic hair, as a way of helping her through the emotional rollercoaster known as puberty. I can kinda see where he's coming from, since it can be pretty hard to accept the fact that you're growing hair "down there", but I couldn't answer the question. He said that there wouldn't be anything sexual going on, other than him trimming her pubes.

Please help me out here gals, since I have no clue how to answer this question.

Here's a poll to make this easier for me.

I think he needs help as does his sister. No 11 yo would voluntarily show herself to her brother in this manner and no 16 yo boy should be involved with his sister this way. It's a bad story.
That which we forget may as well never really happened.

I don't think anyone would say anything if that was asked friend or no friend, other than eweeee you creep. I'm going to report you.

This off course could be part of Chapter 13 of a sexy story somewhere and I say, " I hope not" epic fail.

I don't know of any culture where this would would be considered acceptable.

                An interesting question arises however:
Has anybody here ever allowed someone to trim or shave their pubic hair? If so, what was the relationship?
