    The fundamental unfairness is that the person who is wronged (by the procrastination of her partner) is worried about having the pejorative label as a nag, which is defined as a person who annoys by persistent faultfinding, complaints, or demands. Our "vicitm" is annoyed because his wife persistently has found fault with his procrastinating behaviors.

    As the excellent commentaries by both Claret and Kitty observe, nagging is symptomatic of the breakdown of a relationship. There are certainly other ways to try to cajole a partner to live up to his/her responsibilities, some of which are clearly better. However, I certainly get the level of frustration.
