There are certainly other ways to try to cajole a partner to live up to his/her responsibilities, some of which are clearly better. However, I certainly get the level of frustration.

The fundamental unfairness is that the person who is wronged (by the procrastination of her partner) is worried about having the pejorative label as a nag, which is defined as a person who annoys by persistent faultfinding, complaints, or demands. Our "vicitm" is annoyed because his wife persistently has found fault with his procrastinating behaviors.
