    Caught in the middle...

I useta have this good friend whom I hung out with on a daily basis. I introduced her to the boyfriend who shes been with on and off for almost 3 years. However, me and her boyfriend have been friends farlonger then I have even known her. And now shes starting school and is very busy alot, and so am I so we have drifted apart as far as good friends go. However, I'm still very good friends with her boyfriend and she makes it out as if I'm trying to hook up with him and she talks alot behind my back that I hear about and it really bothers me. I tried confronting her multiple times about it but she wont ever respond to my emails phone calls or text messages. I dont know what to do. Should I stop talking to my friend (her boyfriend) because all its doing is starting drama, over nothing. But at the same time, weve been friends longer then either of us have known her, and it doesnt seem fair that we should have to stop talking because shes insicure about us being good friends.

I would discuss that with him. If he doesn't think that you 2 should stop talking because of her, then don't. But I wouldn't make any decisions until you and he discussed it. She is being silly and should respect the fact that you 2 are only friends and have been friends for along time. Thats the problem with some women, they think guys and gals can't be "just friends" and they can be. I have many guy friends that are just that friends. So talk with him first. I hope it all works out for you.

Think of it this way, when she is talking about you she is only giving another person a rest of whom she also may be talking about. She is blowing alot of hot air to make her feel better when in the long run she is only going to end up looking like a total ***....and so will your other friend, not to be offensive there.

If he says that then he is missing the big picture of what she is really like and he needs to have his eyes opened. For sure talk to him, just one on one. Tell him how much you value his friendship and let him know that she is trying to destroy it. HE is your friend, the heck with what she thinks of it. Don't let go of a friend because of the catty girl.

        Good luck to you...
