    Not sure what to do.

My boyfriend of 2 years broke up with me a few months ago. After the break up I leaned on a friend of mine, a woman, we ended up hooking up that night and have been ever since. My ex contacted me and wants to get back together. I do still care about him but I'm having fun hooking up with my friend. My friend and I are not in a relationship, we just hook up and are free to hook up with other people which I'm considering doing. I think right now I just want to go out and have fun. Will I be making a mistake not 're kindling the relationship with my ex?

It's hard to say whether or not you'll be making a mistake, to be honest. However, considering you seem to be enjoying yourself without him then maybe it's best to just move on and keep having fun like you are?

Why did he leave in the first place and what are his reasons for trying to get together again? Why would you want to go back to him, besides still having feelings? What are his redeeming qualities? Difficult to say what you should do without the full details.

It's hard to advise without knowing his reasoning for leaving but what I can say is from my experience in past relationships, once you've called it a day it rarely works out the same as it did first time around. If i'm honest, it sounds as though you're having a lot of fun and enjoying yourself. Perhaps you need to ask yourself how happy you are within yourself now compared to the end of the previous relationship? Time is the greatest healer and my advise is use this time to your advantage. You've been given a breathing space in which you can reflect and perhaps even find yourself?
