Yeah I think we get ourselves into deep doo-doo when we take advice from sappy love songs. He's only 18 and she's barely 17. Their relationship hasn't even budded into a romance, he's going to college, she's going to be in high school. They are kids. In the off-chance that they are a fit for each other, I'm sure they will find a way to keep in touch and make it happen.Comment

Seger is a keen observer of human behavior,, and I have duplicated his journey in Roll Me Away, not stopping when I was "Twelve
Hours out of Mackinac City" but continuing on across South Dakota and Wyoming on my 1260cc Suzuki. Much of my trip, maybe even most, was on the bright side of 100 mph, and it was one of the highlights of my life!
And it was a great way of getting past the loss of THE love of my life...Comment
