It is possible but you have to be open with the other person. If you are attracted to him, tell him. But also tell him you are not going to let sex screw up a good friendship.

If you are in a commited relationship, that does not mean you stop finding other people attractive. It means you are making (it is a constant thing you have to do) a conscious decision to NOT act on those attractions becuase your partner is someone you are committed to.

But you have to (in my opinion) be very honest with yourself. Don't try to fool yourself. Be homest with yourself and with him. If you are not, then things can get messy.

Hello all,

new here and this is my first post and on a subject I'm having a problem with right now. I think women and men can be friends and I do see the ladder theory as on target. Sometimes it seems the problem arises when the line isnt clearly drawn. Like in most relationships, if you arent very clear on your real feelings, you cant expect the other person to make the right guess.

right now I'm having an emotional issue with a friend who hasnt really been clear to me on what she feels. yes she's kinda said what she thinks, but when asked what she feels I dont get a direct answer.
