    did i do anything wrong?

i had a friend and we had been friends for about five years. the problem was that she was so RUDE and she didnot want anybody to tell her. She said that because her parents were financially stable she didnot need anybody's help.
i tried telling her over and over again to be alittle nicer but she would brush me off with sacarstic comments. which really hurt but because i always keep my cool, i never went off at her. anyway unfortunately i was dating her boyfriend's brother(which was the worst mistake i ever made). she would go ahead and tell her boyfriend about everything we talked about and i started feeling insecure. i never wanted to share any secrets with her because she always told her boyfriend everything including my sex life.
this time she got so rude so i told her off because i had taken it in for a long while. many of the other friends were complaining and i was trying to protect her saying she wasnt that bad as they made it sound. she got mad and she didnt want to talk to me ever again. so as much as this was going on i decided to tell my boyfriend about it and he went on to tell his brother. but since i had had a misunderstanding with her boyfriend, he told her i was badmouthing her. just in the middle of the night, she decides to call me shouting at me to make everybody know that she was mad, she always knew i didnt want anyone shouting at me and she did this over and over again. I apologised for having said anything but anyway she won't talk to me anymore.
so i am really wondering what should i do. because i already started living my life and i am actually happy.
otherwise being with that boy really caused alot of trouble for me and i never heard from him ever again leaving me hurt and actually feeling for ever thinking he even liked me

I think you were caught up in a triangle that you don't need to be in, simple.

People come into our lives for reasons and lessons.

She felt she was too good for most people, however, you stood up for her all the time, that warrents you remaining in her life.

Until it interfered with hers, that being brother's and you, and her.

Forget both of them and take it as a lesson, to give is a wonderful gift but on the same accord, never be taken.

Absolutely no wrong in standing up for yourself. There's no need for rudeness so never abide it
You sound like your much better off without her so leave her be, Find friends, true friends

One day she might ask herself why none of her friends stick around, then maybe she'll come to realise?

But I bet she'll call you one day asking a favor, or to comfort her because her bf left. And when that day comes, remember you call the shots
