I was just trying to read through and catch up and straighten this out a little in my mind, but I think the real issue may be that you are really not a couple anymore....though you still live together. His liking men (to whatever extent) is not the real issue, is it? Isn't it really getting over him (as a lover) while you still live together and are raising children together..

You have to keep trying and not give up on love. Sometimes people don't know what they want and have to keep looking. Good luck...

I certainly didn't mean to make you think I was being mean. But sometimes when you put yourself out there people might see something you don't. Then again, when it comes to writing, it's all in the readers perspective.

I have to say this forum is among the best ones I've seen. The people here, CW particularly, have a lot of great insight and are a great support group.

To add one comment though to something you said, though most of your friends may be gay/bi doesn't mean you would accept that in your own love life.

Sometimes you just need to take a step back and ask yourself what you really want. I don't know. You opened the door to the conversation, I sat back and thought about it, thought about you and the situation and re-read your post several times. I guess I read something in it that wasn't intended.
