I caught my husband in a lie. While he was away supporting the huricane relief teams a few weeks ago, he had told me that he was sleeping in trailers and trucks with the guys. Come to find out he was staying in hotels like the marriortt, hyatt, and holiday inn.... with a girl co-worker. I can not accuse him of cheating, because I have no proof, but why did he lie about where he was sleeping those nights. And if he was in a hotel how come he didnt call me to talk, I know he had phone service because he would call me during the day. I'm so sad. Dissapointed in him. When I confronted him about his lies he told me, too bad... get over it, and Leave then. I'm 29 years old we have been married for almost 2 years now and I have two kids.

How did you find out he lied? If the role was reversed how would he feel about it? Do you know this female co worker? I would be upset too especially if i was told to get over it or leave. He didn't really leave it open for discussion.

Ok I'm going to attack this from my husbands point of view.

He would have lied too simply because he knows if he had told me that he stayed with a female co-worker he knows I would have automitacally said that he was sleeping with her.

FWIW, I've on several occasions spent the night in a hotel room with a woman (and not the one I'm married to). On none of those did anything inappropriate happen.

My wife trusts me, and so I was able to tell her about these, but I'm sure there are a lot of people who are not trusting.
