Another thing is life has sooo much gray area that sometimes people veare from relationships because of what is lacking and circumstances say that they can't exactly leave their current situation just yet....

I have always tried to look at "cheating" in a broad spectrum...It's not always "they are lying cheaters" ya know...

I don't get it either. If a woman would never want it to happen to her, then why can't she stop herself from hurting the wife/girlfriend? I know it all boils down to morals, I know the woman I'm dealing with just doesn't have any. She must be so naive as she's eating up all my husband's lies. When I confronted the "woman"...and asked her..."do you know what you're getting yourself into?"...she responds to me...." That's my choice then.". Naive is what she is. But question for everybody.....should we really be mad at these women? When they're not the ones married to us - the men were?"

Yep, men have mistreated women a lot throughout history, and it is funny how women turn on each other like angry wolves rather than clubbing together. There is a reason why many women find it hard to be friends with other women, the constant jealousy, influence and control issues that plague even simple friendships.

A women hates another woman who is slimmer, has bigger breasts, is orgasmic, has longer hair - whatever. And the slimmer larger breasted orgasmic lady feeds off the jealousy of the other to boost her ego. Women want what other women have, and they like a challenge. If a girl you know has a guy you like, not only would it be nice to be with him themselves, they also get the ego trip of having beaten the other woman.

I think there was a service in America where you could hire a girlfriend for an event, for the purpose of provoking other (real) females interest. Which I find amusing.

Women who are friends with people slightly uglier than they are, so that when a guy approaches the group they're the one they go for, rubbing it in the faces of the others. Women blame mens advertising campaigns for the insecurity etc. they feel, when most of it is just other women trying to feed off each others weaknesses to make themselves better, leading to a handful of spoilt princesses and a lot of women who have had their self esteem crushed by them.

This constant one-upmanship does the gender no favours on the whole.

As for an older guy attaching significance to his own life and interests instead of utterly devoting himself to the needs of others being a loser? That's rubbish. How could you even respect someone who doesn't respect themselves enough to do what they want to do. You can't expect to be the only thing in someones life - you should be happy to even make up a third of it.

I think for some girls its a game. It is like the ultimate ego boost for them, to be able to take a committed man and make them desire her, break their vows for her. For many the game is over once the damage is done and it is so very sad. Unfortunately many men are weak, and honestly... pretty stupid to fall for this. A lot of men will say they have never been hit on as much until they got married.

Maybe its that they notice it more, but likely its for the reasons above, someone women just find more of a thrill going after the "taken", it is more of a challenge (although its a lot of time dissapointingly way less of a challenge than it should be).

I've had friends that weren't attracted to a guy until he got into a relationship with someone else, became married etc. All of a sudden he is so much more 'appealing' now that he is off the market.
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.

            I think,

Hmmm, i think we should consider everyone in a situation like this. The wife is obviously not satisfying her husband, in one way or another. And this would most likely influence him to wander. I have seen this happen to people around me too many times. The husband, as some of you have said, if he loved his wife that much and was loyal to her, would accept that she is not satisfying him, but ladies, some men are not that way inclined! As for the other female, she should take a step back and put herself in the wifes shoes. Imagine if that was you ? And yes, she very easily could have become so emotionally attached to the husband that she simply can not let go, which can and does happen. I know. So again i just think we should support anyone in this situation, because it is hard and its even harder to get out of it.
