It's not his decision, he doesn't own you.

It sounds like he "thinks" by putting you down, you will back down, go into a little shell which you are doing, if you think about it, not eating, feeling ill.

Surely, you and the kids have somewhere you can go? He may stay at the house, after or he may leave and you can go back.

I would firstly get out of there it's not good for your health or emotions, then plan from there when you can think clearly of how to.

If it's your house, you can always go there with family during the day when he's working, chuck his gear on the lawn and change the locks.

You need to communicate with people close to you.

Depending on where you are, have that divorce started (if that is what you really want). Or, you might want to try a marriage counselor first.

On the contrary, I want to know if there is a third party involved (for either of you). I have been in the same boat. Your well-being should be your priority. Get him out of your house (if it's yours). Get a restraining order (because he threatens you, right?) I don't know for sure if this would apply, but tell the authorities that his threats are making you ill. Gget a lawyer to help you with this as soon as possible.
