By the sounds of this there is room for a bit of change on his side of things, often when the tables are turned men can see a little of what they might be putting you through. If he got jealous thats funny because he knew instantly how you felt and maybe that would be helping him stay off the computer as well!
I have never asked my partner to quit wow because i know its his "time out" thing, he doesnt really go out with mates or things like that he is a gamer i can accept that but we have rules that we have put into place so neither of us feel that its a problem and we both know we compramised and were willing to so it makes it all a bit easier for us i guess.
I would say hold on, you may find things change a little more when you get your other puter, it makes it really hard to help each other and things like that when there is only just one. You may find the other woman may disappear to a degree too if you are both on at the same time, at our house our computers sit next to each other, which has made it easier again to help each other.
I can understand wanting to watch the big raids i have been waiting to get in there myself 9 more levels lol but sometimes he is probably just wanting a time out too, where as other times he would probably love that you are paying so much interest into whats going on, i guess all men need some sort of time out but they all find it in different ways if it be reading the paper watching a movie going out with friends or playing a game they all need it as do we.

i play WoW to escape my life. And majority of people who do play it will probably admit that some might not. but WoW is just like "real life" its an on going game. you build relationships with people. although it might be virtual but that's where online dating came from right? you said they talk over vent...well that's as real as it will get. once you put a face or a voice behind that a character you feel more of a closeness to it.

I would never ask him to quit WoW because for [U]both[U] of us it an escape at times from work, and all the stress in our lives. Like last night again he didnt get on an play--we came back from taking our kids to the movies and he curled up on the floor infront of me. I except him to play tonight. And once we get the second computers they will be in the same room just in a different corner but close enought that we can see each other and help. As far as vent goes, when we get the second puter i will be on there also, which might cause a problem but oh well. There are times that i dont watch him sit on the couch and glance over ever now and then and look. If i see something that looks funny or what ever i get up and go put my arms around him and ask something stupid like do u need somethng to drink or etc. in the meantime i can read what is going on. I'm hoping this is just a phase and it will pass so i'm holding on to see what each days brings me with him

We all need our escapes and diversions, but be careful, online relationships in these games can become as real as a heart attack.

I know a guy who lost his wife to one of these games. She started talking to the guild leader, continued over many months, they eventually met and from there she abandoned her husband. Poof!

I'm sure the relationship was kinda shakey but I was surprised at the strength of the bond created in-game. Word to the wise...

The third or so poster on here was very wise. The game is great for escape. But when online relationships start creeping into your real life, you need to nip that in the butt. Not to put blame on WoW but if he feels the need to carry on this relation ship out side of the game he may feel like he is missing something.
The second computer is a good idea, if you can play together at the same time, it will be harder for him to forget that his wife, who loves him dearly, is nearby and he will be more aware of you and your feelings.
I am very glad to see that things look like they might be improving, and I wish you the best of luck, and all the happiness you deserve.
