I need advice on what to do. My husband of 40+ years has been into viewing porn for years. Now, I notice that he's into teen porn, which distresses me terribly. I have always had great respect for this man, but I have no respect for someone who supports the teen porn industry. I have confronted him several times, and he promises to stop. Within days, he starts again. He is retired, and seems to spend a great deal of his day viewing porn. He is impotent due to a medical condition, and he has little to no interest in me (or anyone else) sexually or otherwise. I need advice on what to do next.

If you've confronted him several times, and he goes right back to viewing it, he obvously can't stop on his own.

He does have a problem if he spends the majority of his day viewing porn.

You need to sit your husband down, and explain how you feel about him watching teen porn, and he needs to definately get counselling.

I understand that he's impotent, but he can still satisfy you in bed, instead of watching teen porn.

When he became impotent, did he give up? Is he living in a fantasy world?

um,, now im not you know ,, really able to tell you what to do,, with that,, um,, i totally understand your problem,, and frankly i think thats disgusting for a man of that age to be watching something like that,,, you say that he is retired ,, so im assuming he has alot of time on his hands to do nothing,, which is where he finds the time to watch his porn,,, try and make him do things during the day,, keep him busy ,,, so that he isnt just sitting around doing nothing,, watching porn all day,,, other than that I really dont have too much advice for you... i honestly wouldnt know what to do if my husband of 40+ years was addicted to that,,, altho if he has tapes or dvds,, i would probably wind up destroying them,, but it depends on your situation,, but what i would try first is getting him to do things,, little things,, keep him busy during the day,,,,, um im kind of wondering tho,, what is his reasoning for watching this if he is unable to perform,, and has no interest in anyone,,, um the only thing i can think of is that he is trying to remember what it was like to have that urge,, and that"pleasure" ,, of being with sumone sexually,,, ok well thats all i really have to say,, if i said anything offensive in anyway i truly appoligize,, but was just trying to maybe give a reason,, and sumthing that might help you rid him of his porn watching ,, i hope things get better for you

Is it possible due to his impotency that he is actually viewing this, sub-consciously taking himself back to the days when he wasn't impotent? When he was at his horniest? A teenager?

I think physiologically it is.

Seeing as it was only Porn before and now it's teenagers.

Perhaps you need to see it differently and talk to him.
