I agree with rcoreyus, you are not too old!!!! My parents have been divorced since I was 6 months old, it was the best decision my mother ever made, I know that now at 24. They would have been arguing 24/7 but my father also cheated on my mother. After 6 months of waiting for him, she finally left. She poured her life into me and into my grandparents, sometimes I wish she didnt, my mother deserves the best anyone ever could. Ive never seen anyone more dedicated to her family. She is incredibly strong and some how always positive! But, anyways as a child looking at my mother who is 60, I wish she would get a boyfriend, I want her to have fun and feel loved (by a man) again! She is not too old. Age is nothing but a number! 56 is young and vibrant and great! Never think of yourself as old, I never let my mother think of herself as old, I always keep her young! I know my advice isnt from someone your age but hey, I'm on the outside and looking in at mom and your a mom so its similar! I hope you do you!!!! Your happiness is always most important, always put yourself first!!
