It's crazies like that who make us classy ladies look bad
I agree on both sides. Definitely ignore it, but also keep your eyes open. Then again, that applies to any relationship (in some way. I don't mean it like don't trust your SO. I mean it as in, who can predict the future, you know?).
Anyway, your relationship shouldn't concern these people, it's not theirs. It's yours. Handle it how you want, which from the sounds of it seems very well. Some people just don't talk about their pasts because it's not really necessary in some cases. I can say that mine isn't exactly stellar, and my boyfriend knows some parts, other parts he doesn't. If he asked, I'd be happy to tell him. But it doesn't affect my life now, so it certainly wouldn't affect his. Maybe that's how he's thinking of it too. The fact that he at least offered to lay it all on the table is good.
You guys will be fine. And good luck with the wedding plans!

Thank you everyone for your support!
I feel much better knowing that others out there in the world can understand what I'm going throught right now.
I'm so grateful for this forum because I really could not share this with anyone in my family as they would not understand and would encourage me to break it off with him
saying that he is a bad seed and will never change but they havn't seen his heart as I have!
