lol I call BS on that one two.. Variety. Variety is another word for "I want my cake and eat it too". If you want variety, why commit? Variety means: sense of entitlement to everything under the sun, and what they can't physically obtain in real life -- porn provides. Tiger Woods had standard "I need variety' itis -- only difference is he had the money and the fame to obtain that level of variety, not just view it in porn.
A man is only as faithful as his options has been said as a joke.. but this whole zomg i needz teh varieties attitude makes me wonder if its true.Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.Comment

lol - touche, my dear rcoreyus, touche.
While it stirs up guts and emotions its always going to be a topic of conversation, especially among women... given that its a womans forum - I anticipate the weekly rate of women coming to forum with their tale of hurt feelings and being at a loss for how to deal with them will only increase, not decrease... sad to say.
And as they come in with their fresh wounds, old ones will be re-opened by people in the process of letting go of those pains. Its a vicious, fruitless circle.
But getting your feelings out of your chest and into the world can't be a bad thing. Sometimes I feel better after I say what I feel, I am sure its the same for others. Even if I know my view won't change the world, nor do I expect someones view to enlighten me and change my own on this topic. But communication, when handled respecting others feelings is conducted, can never be a bad thing.Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.Comment

Here's the thing, though.
I gave up porn because I myself recognized the harm it was causing to my relationships.
Not because I had an emotionally overwrought wife/girlfriend pressuring me to do so. My significant other wasn't ever aware that I indulged....and if she was, she never mentioned anything.
It's often said that men marry women hoping that they will not change....
And women marrying men hoping that they will.
That's a disastrous proposition if there is indeed truth to it, and I think there may be.
Pressuring someone to change rarely turns out the way you want it to.
It may work in the short run, but until someone makes a commitment to themselves to change, it isn't likely that they will change for anyone else...regardless of who they are.
This is why I advocate finding significant other's that more closely represent your ideals in terms of sex and sexual fulfillment.
All the best.Comment
