Understanding why he would do this will help you figure out what you should do. It could be simple selfishness - he just wants sex with someone different. Is he very selfish in other ways? You've said your sex life is still good - so presumably he doesn't feel he is missing something. (Has he hinted at something he wants but isn't getting?) He could be worried that in being a father, he is somehow losing something - does he seem very stressed about parenthood? None of this is an excuse - just trying to understand his motivation. It is my believe that someone who cheats will keep doing it unless the motivation is removed.Comment

sourpuss: As far as I knew the relationship seemed great. We had an active sex life, we would talk about our future and what we wanted out of life and we both seemed to be on the same page. Just this past weekend we were talking about how solid our relationship is. I honestly don't know why he would do this.
rcoreyus: He can be selfish at times, but he is also very giving. Family and friends are the most important things in his life and he would do anything for someone he cares about. Again, as far as I know, he hasn't hinted to me about anything sexually that he wants that he isn't already getting. As far as parenthood goes, to me it doesn't seem like it's totally sunk in to him yet. He seems kind of detatched. He wanted this baby and was happy when he found out I was pregnant. Maybe he is stressed out at the thought of becoming a father, but he hasn't expressed anything to me about it.
I'm the type of person that needs to know why this happened and what (if anything) I can do to prevent it from happening again. I just don't know if he will be man enough to tell me or if he even knows himself why he did it.Comment
