You and he do not have good enough communications if he is doing something that you don't want him to do. Both of you should be on the same page if you want a baby. And he should be upfront with his wife. If he is upfront, you should be able to talk with her. Personally I think you are getting no assurances about money to raise a baby and he is interested in getting you pregnant. I think you should look elsewhere.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

I am also on medication and mustnt get pregnant without consulting my dr.

And he knew that, that's putting her at risk..Nothing cute about that, let alone the trust factor...

Cute? Against her wishes? To me this is almost akin to rape. Granted she was not forced, but with no concern to her and her wishes, he may have tried to impregnate her?
Had they both agreed that the time was right and they both wanted to have a child then hey more power to them, but not against anyone's wishes... not to mention the IUD being torn out without proffesional knowledge of how it is safely done.
I'm sorry, I don't find anything cute about it at all.

What that two people think alike?

In fairness, I'm actually betting the poster read the heading "only", which now she'll realise not to do in the future

I know I'm late responding on this, but I hope you've been to the doctor and gotten everything checked out. I think anyone whom you told this scenario to would tell you to be HIGHLY concerned with this relationship. What he did was unacceptable regardless of his desire to get you pregnant. And aside from the total betrayal of your trust and TOTAL disregard for your health, your feelings, your needs..... do you honestly and truly believe that he's still in his marriage because of financial reasons? And if so, why would you getting pregnant change that? Is you getting pregnant going to get rid of his mortgage? Or his other financial ties to his wife? No one who cheats is going to tell the person they're cheating with "I'm in a happy marriage", they ALL say they're unhappy, but have you ever noticed how they always find an excuse not to leave? You're being played, you've been being played now for 2 years, and you're cheating yourself out of a wonderful loving healthy relationship with someone that deserves you. I don't think he has any intentions of leaving his wife, and I think he knows that you'll eventually tire of his excuses and leave him, so he wants to get you pregnant so you'll feel like you can't leave him. Even though ironically, you don't really "have" him to begin with. Girl, it's way past time to reevaluate some things here and stop fooling yourself.
