I was just wondering if anyone has seen the movie Fireproof and tried the Love Dare Book from the movie in their own marriages. I am thinking about trying this and wanted to see if anyone has had any success with this. Thanks:

I have tried it a couple of times, but have not managed to finish it. I'm not sure why. I think it would be best to have a friend of your gender (I'm assuming you're a woman?) who would like to do it with you so you can discuss what you did each day (unless the particular days dare is too private). I will say that the first time I tried it, my husband wanted to know why I was being so nice to him. That was like a slap in the face because I really didn't realize how much of our problems were being caused by me! Good luck with it; I don't think it could hurt your marriage so it's worth a try. -
I'd seen the movie & almost bought the love dare book out shopping a couple of weeks ago. Since me & my husband are on thin ice right now, I thought it would help bring us closer & if nothing else, help me grow emotionally. I'll have to get it & see if that helps, don't see how it could hurt.Comment
