2 woman pregnant.
For the 2nd time in our 8 years of being together my husband has gotten another person pregnant. The first time before we got married in 2007 (together since 2003 & married in 2009). I married him because he promised me things would be different and I thought that because we were young (he was 22 at the time) he was just going to a phase that most young men go through of wanting to play the field. I even excepted his daughter into my life. And loved her as if she was mine but she is no longer in his life. The mother took her away from the city and we haven't seen her in almost 2 years. That was also the first time I found out that he was cheating on me. So since then I started feeling like I wasn't good enough for him and I really lost who I was trying to be what I thought he was looking for out there. Anyways fast forward to January of this year. I had a gut feeling something was going on and sure enough I was right. I found a video in his email which is also our paypal account email of him and someone else. I left him without hesitation but I would still talk to him and see him although I wasn't staying at home. It was our first time being apart and I missed him. While I was gone he told me that he got another woman pregnant and that she is 4 months pregnant but that he doesn't want her he wants to be with me. I believed him. I came back home (about a month and 1/2) and we are in counseling which isn't helping as far as I can see. I am at the point where I really want to end this but I feel guilty for coming back in the first place. I feel like no matter what I do I'm gonna end up hurt in some way. I also forgot to mention that I have had trouble trying to conceive because of PCOS and him getting another woman pregnant is killing me because I have been with him 8 years and I have never not once conceived. He was my first love and my bestfriend so I feel like I'm losing two people in my life. I'm ready to move on but feel like my codependency is holding me back? Any advice ladies. Thanks -
8 years, living with one person, will make it difficult as you have to start over again...
I did, you can...And, I'm engaged to a beautiful man that would never ever, even consider cheating....
You are ready to move on so, start changing your life, what you would have done if you had not married this man..
Get in touch with old friends, make new ones, are you working? You are young, and have no children the world is your oyster and you may have difficulties conceiving but to me, it's for now a blessing, trust in that...PUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL! -
"I feel like no matter what I do I'm gonna end up hurt in some way."
I would think that you have already been hurt more than once and if you stay with him you are likely to to continue to be hurt. He isn't all that smart is he? He not only can't keep it in his pants, he isn't practicing safe sex either, on any level. Get in and get tested for STIs and tell him good bye. Don't kiss him good bye - you don't know what he's got.
You aren't going to be losing your best friend. A true friend would not expose you to the risk of a deadly disease, would they?
You deserve better than this. Get tested, get him out of your life, take some time to grieve and then go have some fun!Comment
