Owes me over $10 grand! pays sporadically and never amount I am owed.. He also has a low paying job on purpose until kids are 18! Have been divorced 4 years. I have not taken him to court over this due to the fact that if I do he WILL show up with fake paystubs (he personally knows owner of company- they will give him fake paystubs to show he makes less) but then they let him take cash out of register- no way to prove it!

child suport can't do anything- he has no drivers license to even take away, no property (cars and everything else are in other peoples names) and since he pays something here and there they won't put him in jail.

He is now trying to get CS lowered and am pretty sure they will lower it. I talked to child support and tell them what he does but they can only look at documents they have.

Also found out he was hiding thousands when we were married- it could be in a secret overseas account in someone elses name or it could be gone on drugs? I would have to pay thousands just to find it, if it even still exists and pay thousands for an attorney who will even do a case like this. Also have no money really either!

Do I pay thousands just to prove a point- if they find the money, they will order him to pay me, but just like child suport will I even get it?? Do I pay thousands to take him to court over the child support now? Or do I just move on and pretend I don't even care? I heard the best revenge and living your life well! He loves it when he gets me mad.

Get a judgement for back support. He will have to make arrangements to pay it, it maybe a little at a time but he will have to pay until it is all paid off.

My closest friend and cousin also have the exact same issue as you, if they want to find a way not to pay they will.

You will just let it eat you up and it will manifest....

Your best revenge is to be happy, trust me, that will kill him So go out there and be happy and later, make sure he finds out just how well you are doing,

This will consume you if you allow it to do so.

The better example for your children is you living the fullest most complete life that you can and demonstrating to them that you can make it with or without their father doing as instructed by the court.

It may be a struggle at times and probably already has been, but if you do everything "above board" you will set an amazing example for your children...a priceless life lesson and then they can deal with their father at a later time.

Be happy, be healthy, be the best mother you can be. Your children will benefit from all three.

Keep tract of what he owes you, keep tract of what you know about, and how you know, and let the courts do their job. You should be enjoying your life with your children, and let the pieces fall where they may. Regardless, the best revenge will be raising happy, healthy, well adjusted children who will know who took care of them. They will be adults someday, and they can judge him for what he is.... ; )

In addition to having department of child services garnishing your ex's wages, they can also garnish his income tax refund ALL of it every year to pay the arrears amount until he's caught up. I'm sure he files income taxes unless he owes money... they can also garnish his bank account. You should look into filing a case with DSHS and they will go after him for you and from what I understand they are relentless.
