Update: On my life && fiance returning home!!!!

Okay, Not sure if yall remember me or not but oh well lol. This could get legnthy so may the force be with you in reading this.

Last time I was here, I posted about my fiance leaving for bootcamp(Marines) for 13 long weeks. Well time has flown by and were down to 4 DAYS! until hes back. He'll only be back for about 9-10days but its enough to make me extremely happy. So next Monday, we'll be getting married... Just running to the court house nothing fancy lol.

Anyways Im not sure why I disappeared lol. Ive been busy keeping myself occupied, usually just hanging out with family and my bestfriend. Going to bingo with my grandmother lol...SLEEP! Whatever makes time go by faster

Okay, back to fiance. Ive recieved about 20 letters throughout the time hes been at bootcamp, which from other military wives I know have said is alot lol. Seems like hes been doing really well and of course he misses me and his family like crazy. He not once got in trouble or failed a test... He recieved sharp shooter. Im just glad to know this whole process had been really up beat for him.. and I thought Id be depressed the whole time he was gone but after the first week of him being gone, things got easier, time started flying... and the mailbox was my bestfriend.

So long story, short. Hes gonna be home in 4 days!!!! Im going to be spending time with him and losing my last name... WOOHOO

Im rambling. Ill stop... Hey guys!!!!!

      Congrats!
The influence of military in my life has been large, and there is nothing better than having a loved one home after training or a deployment!
Buy his favorite foods ahead of time, so you don't have to leave the house when he is home.
I am sure you already looked it up, but TX has a 72 hour wait on the marriage license. Make sure to get it ASAP so you don't have to run around with what little precious time you have.

PS, good luck on everything. Spend every minute you can with your husband so you have strong memories of times together.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.
        ...
Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, Virginia

Actually my friend told me for active duty members, they wave the 72hr wait. Because she said they didnt have to wait when she married her husband. So I called a court house and that was correct. So we'll just need his military ID or paper work.

And I thought about buying some stuff but Im not going to do it. I rather go out with him some he'd probably enjoy it. I know the day after he gets home me, him and his sister are suppose to go out to eat and let him do his xmas shopping. He already told me to he wanted to go to the movies for some reason too lol.

That is great, they are able to waive it when you are crunched for time, but it didn't work for us.
We thought we had the option too, until we called and the only person who could do it, took vacation the same week we had the military break. So much for having a waiver!

Grats on having him home, and getting married!
