    need advice

Hi everyone.. I'm new here, just found this wonderful board that I plan to visit more often!

I've been married for 2 years, been together for 5. Over these years I've learned that I don't see eye to eye with my inlaws, namely my MIL but that's another VERY LONG story that maybe someday I'll share in the family forum.

I've noticed more and more lately that my husband's actions are very much like his mother and sister. They say things that are just totally out there and constantly ask questions... it's kinda hard to explain but it's almost like they can't think for themselves and they have to ask about everything. The other thing is that they talk non stop, repeating themselves. My husband was never like that before and he HATES when they do it. Well, lately he's doing these quirky things too that are driving me crazy. I've tried to nicely point out to him what he's doing but he just gets angry with me. How do I handle this? I can't take much more... I keep seeing and hearing his mother when he talks anymore... and like I said... she's not my favorite person!!

Thanks for the laugh! That was hilarious. Most people start talking alot like people they hang around and sometimes pick up there habits. You actually have to make a conscious attempt at stopping it. He doesn't want you pointing it out so that means he's not ready to make the effort to stop. I guess you'll just have to live with it. Look on the bright side, he could have been having an affair instead.

Glad I was able to give you a giggle today.

I see your point.. it's funny how sometimes we don't realize how small our problems are compared to others...

I guess I'll deal with his quirks and just be thankful that I have a good man...
