    Comments on the fatty wife!

Fat and Probably Not Going Back. My wife has consistently gained weight over the 20 years we have been together. She may care about her weight but if she does, she does not show it. It is wonderful that you love your wife. It is a shame she has always gained weight. But you must love her, anyway. Maybe she has an illness where she can't stop feeling hungry? Just be kind when you advise her about her weight. You may have to accept there is nothing you can do, however. But carry on being the wonderful husband you are and just support her.

Love is eternal. Desire because your wife has become a beach ball? Not necessarily.

Holy crap, am I ever glad I missed this when it was originally posted.
My advice would be to leave the “fatty wife” immediately so she can find someone who values her as she is. That clearly ain’t you, buddy.

From a health standpoint, it’s a good idea to check thyroid and gherelin levels if the weight gain is unexplained. But since the concern here seems to be with appearance, one could also try say, getting over themself.

AGREED! Not quite sure "I really love my wife" gels with "she's such a fatty"

it's easy to gain weight over the yrs & not really "see" it
I'm happy to have lost weight the last few years, although it wasn't easy
now I'm back to normal BMI
